Angola’s General Labor Law regulates the Labour Law in Angola and entitles employee benefits in Angola. The Law administers the terms and conditions of employment like working hours, overtime, rest periods, wages and holidays, employment relationships, and other relevant compensation and benefits policies in Angola.

Both employers and employees contribute to the National Social Security Institute (INSS) on a monthly basis. Employees contribute 3% of their gross salary and employers contribute 8% of the employees’ gross salary.
Employers must withhold the 3% employee contribution each month.
A total of 11% (8% employer + 3% employee) must be submitted to the Angolan Social Security Authority.
The contribution is due on the 10th day of the following month.
Employers must withhold 10-25% of employee salary for earnings between 70,001 to 10,000,000 and beyond.
